We begin the tour of Glenmore Trail heading east from the Crowchild Trail interchange.
Crowchild Trail exit. This interchange is a standard diamond with a third level flyover from south to east. The interchange opened in 1982 and was Alberta's first three-level interchange.

Here begins the gap in the freeway which is currently undergoing re-construction. This section will be lowered into a trench with overpasses constructed at Elbow Drive and 5th Street SW. Click here for more information.
