Glenmore Trail now descends into the Bow River valley to meet Deerfoot Trail (Highway 2).

Glenmore Trail splits into a short one way couplet as it crosses the Western Irrigation District Canal.
There are a few commercial establishments in the centre of the couplet on the left.
East and westbound join together again before reaching Barlow Trail.

1 mile (1.6 km) later is the intersection with 52nd Street SE.
The roadway narrows to two lanes past 52nd Street SE.
Approaching 68th Street SE. Glenmore Trail leaves Calgary as Highway 560 to the town of Langdon.
