This is a fairly new roundabout in SW Calgary at Discovery Ridge Blvd. and Discovery Drive.
Taken: July 2001
Notice the "circular arrows" symbol which resembles those found in Europe.
Rather than an advance indication of a roundabout (with yellow diamonds), the yield signs contain the circular roundabout arrows.
Another new roundabout in SW Calgary, this time in neighbouring Springbank. This is a much smaller 'bout, obviously geared more toward traffic calming than efficient turning movements. Rather than using a one way arrow to indicate the direction of the circle, as in the previous roundabout, this one uses the regulatory roundabout arrows in a green circle. Also a conventional yield sign has been used. Taken: July 2001
Roundabout at 98 Avenue and 84/85 Street in Edmonton.Signage on Edmontons old roundabouts is almost non-existant apart from 2 yields signs at the entrances. Taken: September 2002
